REQUIRED READING FOR ALL

Richard, this book is exactly the advice you gave me as we faced our own Accidental Safari when my wife was facing the end of life from kidney failure. Because of your advice, many of the things that were hard, weren’t nearly as difficult as they would have been without you as a knowledgeable guide. Great job my friend! Wayne (and Phylis) Sargent

GREAT BOOK FOR NAVIGATING THE AGING PROCESS FROM A FINANCIAL...

Great book for navigating the aging process from a financial and legal point of view. We are prepared because my son is an Attorney, but this is great for preparing you as you age, written from clients experiences. A must have if you want to stay ahead of any eventuality.

THIS BOOK COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE TIMELY....

This book couldn't have been more timely. My friends and I are in our early to mid 50's and we all have aging parents that are turning to us with questions, needing guidance, and help. I am recommending this book to everyone to help guide their parents on their current journey and to start preparing for our own. Thank you for this invaluable book of knowledge & compassion.

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR SENIORS AND THEIR ADULT KIDS
Accidental Safari is a treasure chest of answers to questions most of us didn’t even know to ask. Drawing on his personal and professional experience, Richard has done a masterful job of organizing and presenting information to help seniors prepare for their own accidental safaris. This book is also an invaluable guide to help adult children understand the roles they will play in helping their parents deal with a host of challenges they will face in their senior years. Highly recommended!

MUST READ FOR YOUNG AND OLD

A must read for anyone fortunate enough to still have their parents and for parents as they age and face their sunset years. After reading Accidental Safari I realized what I thought I knew about planning for the future was just the tip of the iceberg. There is so much more in preparing for aging and providing my family with the information they need that never even crossed my mind. Richard's book walks you through the things you need to know and what you need to do to best prepare for life events. He provides a wealth of information and a roadmap to avoid the pitfalls. I highly recommend this book for everyone whether you're a young couple just starting out or you're already enjoying your retirement years.

A MUST READ!

A great book for everyone. So much so that I ordered 3 extra copies for friends and relatives both young and older. Richard's advise is spot on and written in a way that is very readable and engaging. Do yourself and your family a favor and read this book and most of all take the action you need.

YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW

My husband and I felt we had a good financial and estate plan for our retirement years. We had saved for the future, prepared our wills and advance directives, and had good medical coverage. We thought we had all our bases covered--Not so! We have learned that an accident or a life-threatening medical diagnosis can change your plans in ways you never anticipated. While you are dealing with the emotion of such a traumatic event, you are asked to make crucial personal and medical decisions. Often, you don't know the facts, options, or possible consequences of those decisions, and you don't have time to find out. This book will open your eyes to issues you may not have anticipated--and it does so in an interesting and easy-to-understand manner. I highly recommend you read it, before you need it!

SUPERIOR!

One of the joys of getting to grow older is that when it happens, we inch closer and closer to our own "accidental safaris." I went through that journey with both my parents and it lasted five years. I wish I had this book then. Richard Tizzano is the thought leader on this topic and it's a must read (and use) for anyone either entering the journey themselves, or as family members like my wife and I were. Richard has a gift for telling stories and then providing pragmatic solutions for really tough situations that impact families. Do yourself a favor and get this book today.
